Ayurvedic Hot Chocolate
A delicious rich healthy chocolate drink…need we say more.
Add 8-12 oz of your preferred milk to a pot
Add 1-2 tablespoons of pure cacao powder (not cocoa powder)
What’s the difference? Cacao powder is processed without heat and retains more health benefits. Cocoa powder is sweeter and processed using heat.
Add a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and cayenne (optional).
Heat on low and stir.
Pour the warm mixture into your mug with a small spoon of ghee and mix well.
Add a splash of maple syrup if you desire
